MVS 5600基于第六代英特尔®酷睿™双核i7-6600U 2.6GHz和i3-6100U 2.3GHz，专门为恶劣的车载环境设计。它使MVS 5600在坚固、无风扇和紧凑的机制中符合严格的MIL-STD-810G军事标准。
MVS 5600是一个模块化设计，它可以灵活地使用其他种类的扩展板，为不同的应用扩展不同的I/O功能。MVS 5600利用无线网络来简化车队管理，具有远程、实时视频监控等功能。这种远程能力使公交车队24小时保持服务。车辆数据集成和诊断也通过CAN总线和OBDII进行。
通过iButton功能，可以很容易地进行驾驶员识别管理。可选的内部备用电池可以防范任何意外的车辆电源故障或不稳定的车辆电源。
